Paper topic for this week
Here is a paper topic for this week. Due next Monday:
1) Steven Lukes admits that his treatment of the five types of societies isn't exactly fair. Is this a problem? Can any of these types of societies do a better job of incorporating human rights than Lukes suggests? Explain.
2) How does the problem identified by Pogge in "Loopholes in Moralities" relate to the issue of Human Rights? Does this essay help clarify or advance our understanding of human rights? How so?
